Napier has numerous walkways linking neighbourhoods and offering the chance to walk in pleasant, quiet surroundings away from the bustle and traffic of city life.

The walk routes range over hillside, seaside and riverside locations. In this leaflet some of the most scenic and historically interesting walks are highlighted.

Some of the walks are circular, many are one way, some link up with others. By using a more detailed street map you may choose an alternative way back.

For more detailed maps and information on each walkway contact the Napier Visitor Information Centre, Marine Parade, Napier, telephone (06) 834 1911
