General Information

The Bellatrix at the May and Peter Harris Playground.
This section provides a guide to 22 children's playgrounds set aside in various Napier reserves.
To ensure they are of a high standard, all play equipment and surrounding safety surfaces are inspected and
maintained on a three-weekly cycle. They are expected to conform to the requirements of all current joint New
Zealand and Australian safety standards and guidelines.
Anyone with concerns about the safe usage of any play area or who sees damaged equipment is asked to contact the
Napier City Council, Services Department.
