New to Napier
If you are new to Napier from elsewhere in New Zealand or from another country, there is a lot to learn about your new city. You might need to find a doctor, where the nearest supermarket is, or maybe you want to get to know people.
The newcomers guide is a popular booklet with a lot of practical information for people who have recently moved to Hawke’s Bay, or are interested in moving here. You can order a copy using our online form or you can download a pdf version in the documents section below.
Face to Face Assistance
If you have moved from another country and you would like to talk to somebody who can help you with all your questions, please visit Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB). They can refer you to people who can help you.
