Meeanee Road Intersection Change

Hawke's Bay Expressway, Meeanee Road Intersection Upgrade, SH50 - Meeanee Road intersection at Taradale.

Details
Purpose: To reduce traffic delays and congestion at the existing intersection. To reduce the number of crashes at the existing intersection
Estimated Cost: $5.35 Million
Start Date: 2005
End Date: 2007
Location: Meeanee Road intersection at Taradale
Enginering Features: A full diamond interchange with a 40-55m two-lane overbridge to carry the Expressway traffic over Meeanee Road. The bridge will comprise between two and four spans with sloping abutment fills and will be founded on stem piers over steel shell driven piles, similar to the bridge over Kennedy Road
