Grants Allocation Sub-Committee

Role:

  • To allocate Community Service Grants in accordance with Council policy.
  • To make recommendations to Council to approve Community Service Grants and impose any appropriate conditions or performance criteria.

Note:

  • In 2009, the Community Services Grant for Napier was set at $1.30 per head of population.
  • The Sub Committee reports to the Community Development Committee
  • Community representatives of this Sub Committee are paid $204 per meeting.

 The Committee's recommendations must be consistent with the Council's Ten Year Plan.
