Annual Plans and Ten Year Plans

The Annual Plan sets out the services and activities the Council will deliver in the coming financial year, what it will cost and how it will be paid for. In accordance with the requirements of the Local Government Act 2002, The Ten Year Plan sets out the activities and activities Council will deliver over the next decade.

Joint Solid Waste Management Plan

A joint plan between the Hastings District Council and Napier City Council to manage waste management and waste minimisation for the region. The plan determines the provision of waste management and minimisation services across the Omaranui Landfill catchment area until 2018.

Strategic Plan

This document indicates the focus for the Napier City Council's work over three years. The approach to be taken was developed at a special two-day planning meeting of Councillors and senior staff, held shortly after the 2001 local authority elections. It reflects the Council's desire to see Napier take better advantage of its unique assets and strengths.

Recreation Reserves Management Plan

The plan deals with all reserves on an equal footing, objectives and policies are divided into two sections - one General for all Reserves and an overall set for each Group of Reserves with Common Characteristics eg Sportsgrounds, Public Gardens. Some Reserves of special character have specific objectives and policies.

Water and Santitary Services Assessment Plan

The purpose of the Water and Sanitary Services Assessment (WSSA) is to assess how water and sanitary services are delivered to communities and identify the way in which public health is protected. Adopted by Council on Wednesday 22 June 2005.

Maraenui Urban Renewal Plan

Over the years, government agencies have provided contracts or programmes to the Maraenui in an effort to generate some form of social benefit. The problem is that Maraenui continues to suffer in its social, cultural, educational, and economical development. As a result the Maraenui Urban Renewal Plan was developed.

Youth Services Plan

This plan identifies the focus areas for Council’s youth services for 2012/13 and details its planned activities.
