If there is a vehicle on the road that you suspect has been abandoned you can notify the NCC Customer Service Team on +64 6 835 7579 or completed the online form below.
If you think your vehicle has been towed, please contact the Police in the first instance as they may know the location of your vehicle, if not, possibly your vehicle has been stolen..

Abandoned Vehicles

A vehicle that appears to be abandoned would need to be stationary on the public road for an unusual length of time with no activity seen around the vehicle.
A vehicle remains the responsibility of its last registered owner. The Council will charge the last owner of an abandoned motor vehicle where they are identified, with the removal and disposal cost of the vehicle.
