EVA Check-in

NCC is supplying its Napier sites with a simple Check-in solution to assist contractors and visitors, to go about their work.

Using either a Check-in Kiosk, the EVA Check-in app, or a contactless check-in poster, contractors and visitors to NCC sites across Napier can quickly scan themselves in, adhering with NCC’s Health and Safety requirements, helping to manage compliance, health and safety obligations, and to ensure site safety.

As a frequent visitor to NCC sites, using the EVA Check-in app is the best option as it allows the fastest way to freely move around NCC sites.

Frequently Asked Questions

The EVA Check-in app is the preferred option to scan the QR code or to check in/out multiple people from the one phone. You can save and view (also delete when you like) your location history and save profiles of more than one (4 colleagues, for example) which makes the app convenient to use compared to other options, while checking-in into premises with EVA check in.

You can, however, scan a QR code and check-in via your smartphone’s camera application as an alternative simply by pointing your phone at the QR code and clicking the link that appears.

In these situations, there will likely be a Check-in Kiosk, however if not, an NCC staff member will be able to sign you in as requited.

Anyone who visits an NCC site for the purposes of work is required to check in and out on arrival and departure as per NCC’s Health and Safety requirements. This includes all volunteers and some staff, depending on the nature of their work.

Group check-ins from the one phone are available via the EVA Check-in app which you can download via the App Store and Google Play.

No, the Check-in App is free, and NCC will cover all EVA check-in costs.

Check-in data is safely encrypted and stored on each person’s own device. Once someone checks in, the data is sent via an encrypted channel into the NCC’s secure EVA platform.

You will be required to fill out a form with your details when you first scan a QR code. EVA Check-in will remember your details the next time you scan a QR code.
